The Hatco CSBFR Series Cold Shelves Built-In Flush Top units are designed to maintain pre-chilled beverages, hors d’oeuvres, side dishes, buffet items, and other cold food products at proper serving temperatures while delivering a clean, integrated countertop appearance. Engineered for buffet lines, cafeterias, restaurants, and commercial foodservice applications, these refrigerated cold shelves feature Hatcos signature hardcoat aluminum surface for durability and dependable cold holding performance.
The remote refrigeration configuration of the CSBFR series provides greater flexibility for custom fabrication and serving line integration. Each unit includes an unattached condensing unit and electronic temperature control box, allowing fabricators and operators to optimize installation layouts while maintaining convenient service access. The condensing system utilizes R-513A refrigerant and incorporates service-friendly components including a sight glass, service valves, dryer/filter, and receiver.
A patented thermal break helps reduce condensation and temperature transfer to adjacent surfaces, supporting cleaner operation in high-volume commercial environments. Designed for coordinated serving line aesthetics, all CSBFR models match Hatco GRSBF Heated Built-In Shelves for a fully integrated appearance across hot and cold food stations.
