The Hobart Legacy HL800 80-quart mixer gets up to 30% more mixing capacity in the same-sized bowl thanks to the Hobart PLUS System, an exclusive combination of three technologies – VFDadvantage variable frequency drive, maximum capacity overheat protection, and a reinforced planetary shaft system. The VFDadvantage variable frequency delivers precision motor control and power to ensure high-quality mixes and ingredient incorporation, all while protecting the motor. It also allows for safe change speeds without stopping the mixer using Shift-on-the-Fly technology, minimal ingredient splash-out thanks to Soft Start, slow and thorough ingredient incorporation using ultra-low Stir Speed, and brings all moving parts to a stop in less than three seconds with FastStop. Maximum capacity overheat protection ensures less downtime through extreme-duty wiring and connections to handle more power, and the reinforced planetary shaft system drives maximum power into the bowl and leverages more of the motor’s precision tuning and high-capacity HL800 has four fixed speeds plus ultra-low Stir Speed. It has an exclusive SmartTimer that remembers the last time set on each speed for batch mixing and can count time both down and up to simplify recipe creation. The Quick-Release are quick and easy to install and remove and deliver superior mixing performance. The bowl guard is removable without tools for cleaning and can be washed in a dishwasher to save time. There is also a Triple Interlock System that prevents the mixer from operating unless the bowl guard is fully closed and the bowl is fully up and locked in place. The patented swing-out bowl makes it a breeze to add and remove ingredients, and it easily installs on a single point. An Electric Bowl Lift smoothly moves the bowl into mixing position.
