Description
The Cambro MDC1520T is a meal delivery cart designed to transport food safely and efficiently in hospitals, correctional facilities, and assisted living communities. The cart is perfect to work with heat on-demand base systems, insulated trays, and utilized pellet systems. It is made of one-piece, molded polyurethane that can withstand the rigors of commercial food delivery setups for years. It is foamed-in-place using polyurethane insulation for added structural strength and provides noise-free movement. The bottom bumpers are molded to protect furniture and walls from damage in case of contact. It has a pressure molded ABS Door with 270° stay open features that aids easy loading and unloading. The doors can also be locked into the bottom catch rail for easy access to stored items while serving food. The unit has the paddle latch made of stainless steel that doesn’t need any tool for cleaning. The large size of the paddle latch makes the opening of the cart convenient.
The delivery cart has a single-stack rail system that can handle (2) 14″x18″ trays per rail with (8) trays per compartment. The rails have 5-1/4″ clearance that helps accommodate dishes of different sizes. Service instructions and manuals can be easily accessed and read by using the rear-mounted nylon roller menu clips. Its molded-n marine rail top secures the trays while the staff is making serving preparations. The ergonomic design of the rail top allows the surface to be used as an additional workspace. Each compartment has a self-draining shelf and bottom for easy cleaning. The molded-in rear handles allow easy transportation and mobility. It has (4) 6″ casters with (2) fixed swivels and (2) with brakes. A variety of colors are available in this unit.
