The Hatco CSBFX Series Cold Shelves Built-In Flush Top units are designed to provide dependable chilled food holding while maintaining a sleek, integrated countertop appearance for commercial foodservice environments. Ideal for buffet lines, cafeterias, restaurants, and serving counters, these built-in cold shelves feature Hatcos signature hardcoat aluminum surface and are engineered to keep pre-chilled beverages, hors d’oeuvres, side dishes, and buffet items properly cooled during service.
The CSBFX series is specifically designed for use with remote refrigeration systems supplied by others, giving fabricators and operators greater flexibility for custom installations and refrigeration integration. These models are shipped without a condenser and include an unattached electronic temperature control box, shelf assembly with temperature probe, unattached TXV valve, and a liquid line solenoid valve attached to the shelf.
A patented thermal break system helps reduce condensation and temperature transfer to adjacent countertop surfaces, supporting cleaner operation and improved serving line performance. Designed for coordinated aesthetics in commercial installations, the CSBFX series also matches Hatco GRSBF Heated Built-In Shelves for a consistent integrated appearance across hot and cold serving stations.
