Libbey’s Driftstone collection aims to marry beauty with simplicity. The colors are rich and deep within a soft matte shell that lets the colors stand proud without the distraction of pattern or glare. The color palate comes from a cloth of organic hues that remind diners of the natural world and its role in the delectable menu items these pieces contain. Matte finish china can be more susceptible to scratching, but such superficial blemishes rarely penetrate the glaze and can be smoothed out with a mild abrasive and water to return the finish to its original beauty.
