The True TRCB-48 Chef Base is a versatile addition to any commercial kitchen. With two drawers, it offers ample storage for full-size food pans, allowing for various configurations of fractional equivalent food pans (sold separately). The heavy-duty stainless steel top can support up to 717 pounds and features a marine edge to contain spills.
Operators can easily set their desired temperature between 33 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit, monitored via the external digital display. Built to withstand heavy use, this chef base boasts a stainless steel top, front, and sides, with an aluminum back for corrosion resistance. It’s well-insulated with foamed-in-place polyurethane and features a clear-coated aluminum interior for easy cleaning. The forced-air refrigeration system, combined with a self-contained capillary tube system using R134A refrigerant, ensures consistent and reliable temperature maintenance.
